With the blessing of His Grace Irinej, Bishop of Washington–New York and Eastern America of the Serbian Orthodox Church, the Mission Parish of Saints Cyril and Methodius was established in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts in 2023.

As a youthful and vibrant community, we aim to glorify Christ through our worship and also preserve our Serbian heritage through educational and cultural programs.

With deep gratitude and great joy, we are finally securing a "roof over our heads" after years of prayer and dedication. This will be a permanent sanctuary where our faithful can gather, our children can grow in their Faith and culture, and our community can put down lasting roots.

Since we have made a decision as a parish to purchase the Federated Church in Middlefield, we are focusing all our energy on securing our first permanent home. For two years, we have been building a vibrant community, but we have lived out of rental halls, constantly moving our services and our hearts. We have the chance to end that journey now. This will be a place where our roots can finally grow deep, where our children can always feel they belong, and where we will never again have to pack up our faith.
